« The pebbles » collection
As he was coming back from New Zealand, Vincent Cruège, deeply inspired by the raw beauty of nature and the land-respecting traditions, found peace in the Médoc forest. During a walk, he discovered painted pebbles abandoned on the ground. These stones, polished by the ocean and marked by time, evoked for him the endless cycle of nature and the connection between the ephemeral and the timeless.
This encounter rekindled his desire to create. He began painting on these pebbles, reproducing circular patterns, symbols of harmony and eternity. His artistic exploration then expanded to large canvases, where he translated the essence of the pebbles through textures and colors, enhanced by the precision of pointillism. Each dot becomes an echo, each circle a vibration, evoking constellations or the ripples of a peaceful lake.
Whether rendered on stone or canvas, Vincent Cruège’s works invite quiet and contemplation, where nature and presence strike an unlikely chord, slowing down the passage of time.
